Earth's civilizations were destroyed by permanent abnormal climate change. Now in current times, cities of one million people exist on the moon and have become the only place left for humans to live. The people left on the moon declared the foundation of Eden. An organization that has been expanding into the cities that loved peace and freedom. However, a boy's actions would shake Eden's freedom and peace later.

More than 160 years have passed since then.

In Eden, the children finish their compulsory education when they are 15 years old. Then, they become parts of the society as citizens. During their brief moratorium, they are given freedom. Like other boys, Takeru is going to take part in a race with his friends. (taken from animenfo.com).

Let's see... so there are motorcycle style vehicles without the cool bendy light in Akira. Other than that, not much goes on in this ep. Fear Not! The next one is better ---

 Prologue [Freedom Prologue]

Eh, so...go 6 or so months back and get to know your favorite character a bit better...other than that, not much goin on...though I think it looks the best visually. It's only about 6 min long, but it's still worth watching, so check it out!!
